Baby Murphy 9.4

Well I can't get much further along than this - we've reached the end of the road. However, after 9 hrs of latent labor last Saturday and the doctors telling us "any day now" for the past two weeks, we're not sure what the hold up is. ;) Due date is Wednesday, May 20 and will induce by Monday, May 25. I stopped working out awhile ago but my mom and sister (both are in town this weekend) decided it would be fun/ny for me to workout to a Salsa Dance DVD with them. Johnny agreed that I looked pretty ridiculous.

Here is a picture of Marc and me taken at the house yesterday. My tank top is working pretty hard.

Marc ran the 6.3 miles. I walked. Fast.

Most people still seemed pretty impressed considering my condition. ;)

Hi all! With the baby coming in just a few weeks I wanted to get this blog back to the Murphy family story and created a separate blog special for the store: www.macandmurphy.blogspot.com There you will find pictures, press and information re new merchandise as it arrives. This blog will be posted on the website www.macandmurphy.com so you can follow us there as well. It will be a bit less personal because we will be linking all our marketing material to it as well. Charleston City Paper (a hip/urban free city paper) popped in on us last week and posted an article to their blog with some great pics of the newly landscaped storefront. We were also contacted late Friday night by Charleston Magazine (a beautiful publication) and they want to include us in their "Buzz" section of the magazine next month. This is HUGE for us. So, lots of great press and word of mouth is spreading - we're very encouraged. Also! -- we learned that all of you living outside of South Carolina can shop with us TAX FREE so don't hesitate to call me for your invitations and stationery. We also have tons of gift ideas such as journals and picture frames. - I'm more than happy to work with you anyway I can to get you set up.

Baby Bump 8.1

I'm just past 8 months and think I may be done popping at this point. Don't think my belly can be any further out in front than it already is. May just gain more weight from this point on. The baby is moving around like crazy and sometime I swear he/she must be doing somersaults or cart wheels inside there. :)

Happy Birthday Marc!

Even though today (March 30th) is Marc's birthday we celebrated it yesterday because he had to travel for work this week. It was a gorgeous day spent hanging out on the porch, going to the beach and having lunch at our favorite summer spot - Poe's Tavern.

My Charleston girlfriends were all pretty excited to receive my Baby Shower invitation for a cocktail party last Thursday night. Not your typical Baby Shower.....unfortunately my camera ran out of batteries so we only got a couple shots. It was a great night.
